The great thing about bodywork is that you never stop learning, and I regularly attend advanced workshops to learn new skills and gain new insights. Some of the more recent include advanced myofascial techniques for treating sciatic pain, along with other lower back, hip & pelvis issues, and exercise rehabilitation.
I'm a big fan of Yoga, and also love being outdoors - when I'm not working, you'll often find me walking on Bredon Hill.
I first experienced the benefits of massage when struggling with my own back years ago. I used to do the rounds of the local chiropractors and osteopaths, and it would all help for a while, but it wasn’t until I started combining treatments with massage therapy that I really started to notice the difference. That's when my journey into the fascinating world of bodywork began.....
I've been working as a Soft Tissue Therapist since 2003 and am qualified in Advanced Remedial Massage, Sports Massage, and Structural Bodywork. I draw on all of these modalities during a typical session to offer the most appropriate and effective treatment. I also incorporate elements from other traditions which I have explored over the years, including Acupressure, Zero Balancing, and Emmett Technique.
I am registered and fully insured with the Federation of Holistic Therapists. I am also a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
